The Patriots will run for 100 yards

I don’t know if you are aware, but the New England Patriots haven’t been able to run the ball for the first 3 weeks of the season. Now that 2 of the running backs have headed to the IR, the pressure goes to Sony Michel and James White.

Michel and White have a combined 150 yards this season. That’s 50 yards a game for the duo. If you want to have a successful offense that can’t be happening.

Michel has been running the ball a lot, but just hasn’t been successful. It appears that the rookie is still getting used the pace of play in the NFL.  I still believe that he could have a good season, but he needs to start getting some substantial yardage and maybe even his first touchdown.

If the Patriots want to reach this goal they are going to need to start letting James White run the ball. With how much Sony Michel has been struggling, I would be fine with White just taking over the running back position altogether. White has primarily been used as a receiver, but I think he could do some damage in the backfield.
