Terry Rozier took the NBA by storm last season and could play a major role in the Boston Celtics success this season.

“Scary Terry” was everywhere last season. Terry Rozier was thrust into the spotlight and got a chance to show how great of a player he is. I would say that the Boston Celtics were pleased with the results.

Rozier has gotten better every single season. Last year Rozier averaged 11.3 points and 4.7 rebounds.

Celtics fans really got to see Rozier shine in the playoffs. When Kyrie Irving went down the C’s needed someone to step up and Rozier sure did. He averaged 16.5 points, 5.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds a game.

When the pressure was put on Rozier the guard didn’t shrink. He actually thrived.

This season Rozier will be back on the bench, but I think he will continue to grow as a player.

Rozier will head an amazing bench unit for the Celtics. Terry could be a starting guard on some teams. Having such a talented player coming off your bench is quite the advantage.

I think Rozier will have another career season and will end up winning the 6th man award. It’s fair to expect Rozier to average 20 points a game and I think we will see him distribute the ball more. The Celtics are so talented he has plenty of people to pass the rock to.

If Terry can consistently hit shots from behind the arc and get to the foul line he should be able to average these numbers.

With Kyrie Irving vowing his allegiance to Boston, it makes you wonder if Rozier will leave after this season. It’s pretty clear that he would be coming off the bench for the foreseeable future. There are definitely some teams around the NBA that could use a guard like Rozier on their roster.

If Terry Rozier does take home the 6th man award his stock will be at an all-time high. It’s hard to say no to a starting job elsewhere when you would be getting the payday that Rozier could fetch on the open market.

I for one definitely hope that Terry Rozier stays a Boston Celtic because he is an important member of the best bench unit in basketball.
