It seems that the Boston Bruins will be making sure that everyone is fresh throughout the season with constant changes being made to the starting lineup.

An NHL season is no joke. Last season we saw the toll that it takes on players with many Boston Bruins players missing a significant amount of time. It looks like Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy is trying to avoid that this season.

In the Bruins last game versus the Edmonton Oilers, Ryan Donato was sent to the 9th floor and Joakim Nordstrom returned to the starting lineup and now it looks like Donato will be back in the starting lineup.

Since Nordstrom was succesful scoring a goal in his return to the starting lineup, Cassidy is keeping him on the 2nd line. So where does Ryan Donato go?

I think the best spot for Donato is on the 3rd line and it appears that Danton Heinen will be the odd man out. Donato could play on the left wing which would be a much better fit than being on the right.

With Donato on the third line, he will have a strong center in David Backes to open the ice up for him. Donato will also have a very skilled Anders Bjork on the other side of the ice. I think we could see a goal between the duo on Saturday afternoon.

Please don’t let us down Tuukka

Tuukka Rask has had one bad game and one decent game. Hopefully, we get the most recent Rask on Saturday afternoon.

Rask doesn’t have time to try and find his game. Jaroslav Halak is off to a great start. If you weren’t a Bruins fan you may think that Halak is the starting goaltender and Rask is the backup.

Rask isn’t on the hot seat. There isn’t a goaltending controversy, but there could be one. If Halak continues to play well and Rask struggles, Tuukka may spend some time chilling on the bench with a hat on.

It’s always great to watch two original six teams battle it out. The Bruins game will be a great appetizer to the opening game of the ALCS.
