The Boston Bruins got back in the win column on Tuesday night. Here are 3 takeaways from the 3-2 victory.

The Boston Bruins were awful against the Montreal Canadiens. In all aspects of the game they struggled. Plain and simply it wasn’t pretty. Thankfully for Bruins fans, they had a much better effort on Tuesday night.

No one expected the Carolina Hurricanes to have a great start to the season, but they have done rather well. This game may have been looked at an easy win before the season, but now it was a bit more challenging.

The Bruins ended up winning the game 3-2 and now have a 7-3-2 record.

More from Chowder and Champions

A lot of this win has to do with the play of the Bruins first line. There are two players I will go on to mention, but I would be an idiot to not mention the great play of Patrice Bergeron.

Bergeron had an amazing game. He assisted on all 3 Bruins goals and just continued to be one of the Bruins most important players.

It seems like the Bruins offense just revolves around Bergeron and the first line. When they are scoring the Bruins are a hard team to beat.

Hopefully, the Bruins will use this game as a building block. They have been rather inconsistent at times. Fans wouldn’t mind the Bruins going on a nice little winning strike.

So let’s look at the 3 takeaways from the Bruins victory on Tuesday night.
