The New England Patriots are halfway through the 2018 season so let’s hand out some hardware.

I apologize for the news I have to deliver, but we are already halfway through the 2018 NFL season. It seems like just yesterday the New England Patriots were kicking their season off at Gillette Stadium.

This season has been filled with ups and downs. At times it has seemed like the Patriots would miss the playoffs and at others they seemed like they were guaranteed to win the Super Bowl.

There have definitely been some players who have shocked some fans while others have been disappointing.

So without further ado here are the 2018 mid-season awards for the New England Patriots

1. Most disappointing player

This one will probably shock Patriots fans, but I think that Tom Brady is the most disappointing player so far this season. At times Brady has made poor decisions and some awful throws.

Now, this may be due to the high expectations we have for him. When you are the greatest quarterback of all time we expect greatness every week.

So far this season, Brady has thrown for 2,200 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. The most damning stat is the INTs. Brady only threw 8 interceptions the entire 2017 season. Also, Brady’s yards per game and QBR has taken a slight hit.

So if the Patriots want to have a chance of making a run for the Super Bowl, they need Tom Brady to step up his play.
