3. Can’t forget about the first line

The Boston Bruins first line has been the backbone of the team. Without their great success, the Bruins would be in a rough spot.

Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and David Pastrnak have combined for 68 points which is just under 50 percent of the teams scoring.

The star has been David Pastrnak. Pasta has been on fire. He has 16 goals and 7 assists in just 17 games. If Pastrnak continues to score as he has been he will easily be a Hart Trophy favorite.

So the Boston Bruins are in a pretty good spot early on in the season. I think as the season progresses the Bruins will only get better. Imagine if Tuukka Rask returns and looks phenomenal?

Next. Lots of questions around Tuukka Rask. dark

Even though it hasn’t been the start that Bruins fan has been hoping for, Boston looks like they will be making a run for the Stanley Cup once again this season.
