New England Patriots: Tom Brady not so hot as of late
By Sam Minton
The New England Patriots may be 7-3 but Tom Brady has been struggling as of late.
New England Patriots fans love Tom Brady. It’s hard not to when he brought so much joy to our lives, but as of late the quarterback we know and love has disappeared.
Brady has struggled to get going this season. He only has 17 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. In the past 3 weeks, Brady has only thrown for one touchdown, and that came off of a trick play. For such a great quarterback this is a pretty severe drop-off.
In Week 10 Brady looked pretty bad. He completed just over half of his passes and had 0 touchdowns. Now Brady was facing pressure all day, but he needs to do a better job.

Throughout the entire season, we have seen Brady make some uncharacteristic throws. He has missed wide open guys, and just missed throws that he usually makes. With such a lackluster receiving corps he needs to be on top of his game.
Brady’s worst habit has also come up again this season. He is dropping to the ground even when no one is around him. The ghost sacks have returned.
This is probably due to a struggling offensive line. He has continually faced pressure in the pocket. Still, Brady needs to stay strong in the pocket.
With a struggling group of wideouts, Brady will at times need to take a hit as he waits for plays to develop. Everyone won’t be open as soon as you yell hut.
I think father time is starting to win the war versus Brady. For year’s we expected Brady to just continue to get better but I think we may start to see the decline of TB12. Even in his decline, he will probably be one of the top 5 QB’s in the NFL.
So hopefully Tom Brady will be dominant when he comes out of the bye and help lead the team to another Super Bowl run.
