Patriots Gridiron News: Rob Gronkowski rolling into Week 13 with confidence
In high spirits, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is feeling healthy and confident rolling into the Week 13 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
Mood says everything when it comes to Rob Gronkowski. On Wednesday, the New England Patriots tight end was his usual fun-loving self while addressing the media at Gillette Stadium.
Coming off a game in which he caught three passes for 56 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown reception, the All-Pro tight end said he feels good. In playing 69-of-70 snaps, Gronkowski did look a bit winded in the game at times, but that’s due to missing the last two games due to ankle and back injuries.
The most important part to his production and time on the field, was that he left the game without an injury. In fact, Rob Gronkowski was removed from the injury list for the first time since Week 2. That is indication that those nagging injuries have gotten close to 100 percent as possible. It also proves for a more confident Gronk.

We all know, a confident and close to healthy Gronkowski is a dangerous weapon for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots offense.
After catching his first touchdown pass since Week 1, Rob Gronkowski is looking to build on his confidence going into Week 13.
"“Every week is different, but there are certain times when you do want to carry things over where you build up the confidence when you make a play in the game, one [play] you haven’t been making in a while,” Gronk said. “So, rolling into this week you feel confident it is going to happen again. Confidence is huge and that is what it’s all about.”"
Though Rob Gronkowski doesn’t appear to have the same burst of speed off the line of scrimmage, his physicality and footwork still makes him a big threat in the passing game.
The Patriots will need every bit of his confidence and physicality going up against a good defensive team like the Minnesota Vikings.
Injury report looking great for Patriots
As mentioned above, Rob Gronkowski has been taking off the injury report for the first time in 27 days.
That is not the only good news for the New England Patriots as far as injuries are concerned.
The only player who did not participate was tight end Dwayne Allen. Otherwise, only two players were listed as limited. Those players were Tom Brady and special teams ace Nate Ebner.
Although anytime Brady is listed on an injury report, there is some cause for concern, the 41-year-old quarterback will play in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
In all, the New England Patriots are just about fully healthy at just the right time in the season. Maybe now, they will establish an identity that will make them Super Bowl favorites once again.
