New England Patriots rumors: 5 reasons team should trade for Antonio Brown

1. His value is at an all-time low

Now this would usually turn you away from a player, but Brown’s value has nothing to do with his play.

When you request a trade the team you are on loses all leverage. The league knows you want to leave so there is no reason to overpay for the guy.

It is clear that there is no way that Brown can survive in Pittsburgh. The team is falling apart at a rapid rate. Le’Veon Bell is leaving the team, Ben Roethlisberger is washed up, I don’t blame Brown for wanting to leave.

This is when the Patriots should scoop in and get Brown. They could probably wave some draft picks in front of the Steelers and acquire him. The Steelers need to rebuild their offense so acquiring draft picks would lead them in the right direction.

At one time it would seem that in order to acquire Antonio Brown it would take a once in a lifetime deal. Now it seems like with a little negotiation any team can have him.
