The New England Patriots are without a true star wide receiver, acquiring Antonio Brown could completely transform the Patriots offense.

When you think of truly amazing New England Patriots receivers who comes to your mind? Randy Moss might be the greatest one to ever wear the uniform. If the Patriots acquired Antonio Brown you would be getting a player of a similar caliber.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have wasted Brown’s talent. He has yet to win a Super Bowl and only appeared in the big game once.

It seems that Brown is fed up with Pittsburgh. He is getting into arguments with his QB Ben Roethlisberger (I can’t blame him) and his latest move has been to ask the team for a trade.

The New England Patriots have some quality receivers, but no one like Brown. Julian Edelman is a good receiver but I doubt that he would have the same success without Tom Brady.

After that, there are a lot of relative no names. Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett, and Cordarrelle Patterson don’t really instill fear in opposing defenses. Also, we have no idea what the Patriots plans are in regards to Josh Gordon.

The Patriots need a big name receiver and Antonio Brown should be that guy.

Tom Brady could use some help. He isn’t the same quarterback he once was. Brady still is great, but we saw how much he struggled early on in the season. Imagine if he had Antonio Brown? The duo would probably have had a record-breaking year.

So here are 5 reasons the New England Patriots should trade for Antonio Brown.
