As a complimentary player, however, Patterson’s versatility on offense and special teams will produce a big play or two.  Whether it’s a kickoff return that sets the team up in great field position, a deep pass or a jet sweep that results in a big gain, expect Cordarrelle Patterson to make an impact somewhere.

The 2018 second-team All-pro kick returner has been an All-Pro playmaker for the Patriots this season.  His willingness and readiness to do whatever the team asks him to do has made him a popular player amongst his teammates and has made a believer out of Tom Brady.

Although not one of Brady’s top targets, the 41-year-old quarterback praised Patterson and nicknamed him “The Experiment” because of the different ways the team uses him.  You better believe his size and speed will be utilized in multiple ways throughout the playoffs.

With the offense not as potent as fans are used to, the gadget player could just be the X-factor that gets the team rolling.
