The New England Patriots have won their 6th Super Bowl and have cemented themselves as the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

Life as a New England Patriots fan keeps on getting better and better. It may not have been the game we envisioned but the result is all that matters. The New England Patriots are once again Super Bowl Champions.

It is truly incredible what these franchise has been able to do. In just 17 years the franchise has won 6 Super Bowls.

What is even more impressive is the recent success of the team. They have appeared in 3 straight Super Bowls and have won 3 championships in the last 5 years.

More from Chowder and Champions

There will never be a team as great as this. We are literally watching history unfold before our eyes.

The only comparison I can even think of in the sports world is Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls teams. Still to this day, Bulls fans will say that they could have beaten the Golden State Warriors and there only reasoning is that you just had to watch them.

What makes this team so special?

This team is amazing because they are resilient.

Tom Brady didn’t have an amazing game, but he made the important plays. Stephen Gostkowski may have missed an early field goal, but when it mattered most he iced the game away late in the 4th quarter. Stephon Gilmore wasn’t necessarily a lockdown corner but when Jared Goff launched a ball his way, Gilmore secured the interception.

A lot of the credit has to go to the defense. They held one of the most high powered offense’s in the NFL to 3 points. Everyone was talking about the LA Rams defense and forgot that New England’s “D” isn’t too shabby themselves.

Somehow people thought that the New England Patriots were an underdog, and that was a humongous mistake. This team doesn’t need any extra motivation, especially in the Super Bowl.

Next. Julian Edelman is HOF worthy. dark

So get ready for another championship parade Boston. It’s time to celebrate!
