3. New England Patriots

Yes, I know the Boston Red Sox have a chance to repeat, but this New England Patriots team is too talented. The Patriots proved in Super Bowl LIII that they are still one of the best teams in the NFL.

Now I understand that New England could lose some key players. Devin McCourty, Jason McCourty, and Rob Gronkowski, and Dont’a Hightower could possibly retire, but this Patriots team is built for success for years to come.

Tom Brady still has a few great years ahead of him where he can lead the team back to the Super Bowl. Sony Michel is a running back straight out of Patriots fans dreams, and the Pats proved in the Super Bowl that their defense is pretty special.

The Patriots also benefit from being in the AFC East. They are guaranteed to win the division until Tom Brady retires. The path to the Super Bowl is quite easy.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the New England Patriots lift a Lombardi Trophy next season.
