3. Jason McCourty

There is a possibility that Devin and Jason McCourty walk off into the sunset after winning a Super Bowl together but if the duo decides to come back the Patriots need to lock up Jason.

McCourty was an absolute beast once he got acclimated to the Patriots defense. He was the best corner on the team after Stephon Gilmore. This season McCourty had 70 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, and 10 pass deflections.

If it wasn’t for McCourty the Patriots may not be Super Bowl champions. He made one of the most important plays of the game.

Brandin Cooks was wide open in the end zone. There wasn’t a Patriot in sight. Then out of nowhere McCourty races down the field and knocks the ball out of Cooks’ hands.

The Rams could have had a lead and all the momentum, but McCourty made sure that didn’t happen.

With his play in the 2018 season, Jason McCourty definitely earned a second go around with the New England Patriots.
