5. Charlie McAvoy

This definitely hasn’t been the season that Charlie McAvoy was hoping for. After a stellar start to his career, McAvoy has had to deal with a lot of problems in the 2018-19 season.

McAvoy has struggled to stay on the ice. He has had to deal with multiple injuries and has struggled to get things going. Finally the Charlie McAvoy that we know and love is back.

During Boston’s point streak, McAvoy has 4 goals and 5 assists. When you consider that McAvoy only had a goal prior to the streak this is pretty impressive.

The Bruins will need McAvoy to be at the top of his game if they want to succeed in the playoffs. They will need him to be a quality defensemen who can get some clutch points.

Hopefully the Boston Bruins can carry this momentum into the postseason and bring the Stanley Cup back where it belongs.
