1. Martellus Bennett

Michael Bennett may not be the only Bennett to join New England this offseason. Martellus Bennett seems interested in coming out of retirement and playing with his brother.

This would be Bennett’s 2nd go around with the Patriots. He won a Super Bowl with the team in 2016 tallying 55 catches for 701 yards and 7 touchdowns.

More from Patriots Rumors

This was only 3 years ago so I think that Bennett still is able to perform at a high level. He is also well rested after sitting out last season.

The duo of Bennett and Gronkowski would still be a dangerous one. Having both of them on the field would make Tom Brady’s life a whole lot easier.

Bennett would most likely take a pay cut if it meant he got to play with his brother. This would make him a much cheaper and more reliable option than other available tight ends.

The Bennett brothers may be taking over New England in 2019.
