New England Patriots: Tom Brady getting big for 2019
By Sam Minton
Tom Brady may not be present at the start of the New England Patriots offseason conditioning, but he may return to the team better than ever.
When you think of Tom Brady, athleticism may not be the first thing that comes to mind. When the quarterback is scrambling he can look like a newborn giraffe, but the New England Patriots legend is probably the healthiest guy on the team (maybe even the world).
The man has his own health and lifestyle book. The TB12 method isn’t a joke, it is a reality.

Brady’s diet is one of the strictest around. The guy won’t even eat strawberries. The guy doesn’t know what he is missing. I guess that is why he is making millions and I sit on my couch and watch him.
When Brady wants to have a cheat day he definitely gets adventurous. He will have a nice bowl of avocado ice cream. What a treat!
We all remember the early days of Brady’s career. He looked like a big old bag of milk. His Scouting Combine picture belongs right next to the statue of David.
When you look at Brady you never really thought wow this guy is jacked, but according to Ian Rapaport, the quarterback is bulking up.
I don’t know how this will affect Brady. The quarterback prides himself on pliability which doesn’t really lend itself to being big.
But maybe having some more upper-body strength will help Brady as he gets older. He will definitely need to be able to handle the hits that a quarterback takes. Maybe Brady’s deep ball will improve as well.
Tom Brady hasn’t let us down with his health yet. The guy is going to be 42 when the season starts and is still one of the top quarterbacks in the league.
So it will be interesting to see what jacked Tom Brady can do.
