Boston Bruins: Stanley Cup is team’s to lose
By Sam Minton
The Boston Bruins tied the series on Wednesday night and the Stanley Cup seems to be the team’s to lose.
Things seemed bleak for the Boston Bruins. The team was struggling and everything seemed for naught. They would just have to face the invincible Tampa Bay Lightning in the next round, but now things aren’t looking so bad.
The Tampa Bay Lightning got dominated by the Columbus Blue Jackets. No one saw it coming (well maybe a few Blue Jackets fans). The Lightning were swept in the 1st round and the President Trophy winners are out of the playoffs.

But still, the Bruins were struggling in their own series. The 1st line was failing to produce and the Maple Leafs were always finding ways to score.
Now things are on the up and up. Game 4 appears to be a gamechanger. The Boston Bruins we know and love appear to be back.
The Bruins played a great game on Wednesday night. The tied up the series and are headed back to Boston with all the momentum.
Boston’s first line finally showed up as well. David Pastrnak scored two goals and Brad Marchand was also able to notch his first goal of the postseason.
If the Bruins can win this series I think they have a great shot at winning the Stanley Cup. With Tampa Bay out of the playoffs, Boston is the best team in the East.
The Blue Jackets would be an interesting opponent, but when the Bruins are playing at their peak performance, they could definitely win it all.
So hopefully the Boston Bruins can keep playing well and advance to the next round. If they don’t, all Boston Bruins fans will be doing is thinking about what could have been.
The Stanley Cup seems to be Boston’s to lose.
