Sebastian Keane

This one right here is for a little Massachusetts, local ball love.

Being in Massachusetts my whole life, coaching, playing high school and college ball in the state, it brings nothing but joy to me seeing a product out of good ole Massachusetts get picked up, especially a young buck fresh out of High School Musical.

More from Chowder and Champions

Sebastian Keane is a RHP out of North Andover High School which is in the Merrimack Valley Conference. That conference’s MVP this year one may wonder, was Sebastian; the reason, oh nothing really TOO absurd right? Nay, sir.

Big dawg posted 51 2/3 innings pitched his senior year with a 9-1 record giving up only 2 runs, 98 Ks, and a 0.35 ERA. Um… ew. That is absolute wizardry. That is video game like. That made me throw up a little.

Those digits not only got him MVP of his conference, but he was also MA Gatorade Player of the Year.

The Northeastern commit not only has a sweet name, but he’s got a great head on his shoulders mixed with some great stuff on the mound that can translate to professional baseball rather well.

The biggest thing here is staying on the path and remaining focused on the goal. Have fun with it and learn as much as he possibly can and he’ll find himself in some red stockings pitching at Fenway (maybe to Jaxx Groshans?) wheelin’ n’ dealin’ in a few years.

Final Statement

These four guys are the prospects who will be making the biggest impacts in the long run from this year’s 2019 MLB Draft. Don’t sleep on these guys and start following them early as they will certainly not disappoint.
