Even though he is retired, Rob Gronkowski and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady still like to throw the football around.

It looks like Rob Gronkowski isn’t returning to the New England Patriots any time soon. The tight end appears to be enjoying the retired life.

Also just looking at Gronkowski it appears that he has some lost some weight. He looks like a shell of himself.

Still the rumors of a possible Gronk return have heated up once again. Gronkowski worked out with Tom Brady at UCLA during a private throwing session.

Of all the people Brady could have picked he decides to pick Gronk. Why not bring in Julian Edelman. I’m pretty sure he would love to spend some extra time with Brady.

Also Brady could have thrown to N’Keal Harry. The rookie is going to be a big part of the passing game. Why not build as much chemistry as you can before the season?

The fact that Brady chose Gronkowski shows that he is still someone that he trusts immensely. It will be hard to replicate that trust with the Patriots current batch of pass catchers.

This makes it seem like Gronkowski may in fact make a return.

There is no doubt that Gronkowski has taken a beaten over his career. The smart move would be to stay retired.

But Gronk has already admitted that he doesn’t know how he will feel when the season gets underway. I can guarantee you that Gronkowski will get the itch to get back on the field.

For a while it seemed like Rob Gronkowski was destined to stay retired. He may be having fun now, but will that still be the case in the fall? New England Patriots fans will just have to wait and see if one of the most popular players in franchise history is really down for the count.
