The Charlotte Hornets are a struggling organization who has never gotten over the hump in recent years. Even during the bad times, Kemba Walker remained loyal.
When Walker became a free agent he was set free by the organization and now has a chance to play for a winning franchise. Walker won’t have to wait long to face his former team.
Kemba will get a heroes welcome when he returns to the Hornets. He never disrespected the organization and was a great leader in the locker room (imagine a star point guard doing that?).
Hopefully, we will see Walker go off against his former team. It is highly likely that the Celtics walk away with the win. The Hornets are in the midst of a full rebuild. They won’t be doing anything special in the near future.
