2. J.C. Jackson

We all know how great the New England Patriots are at finding talent in unique places. J.C. Jackson is just another example to add to the long list of Patriots success stories.

Now Jackson hasn’t been able to get a ton of playing time. The Patriots secondary is rather deep with guys like Stephon Gilmore, Jason McCourty, and Jonathan Jones getting most of the playing time.

In Week 4 though Jackson was able to make a lot of plays. He blocked a punt and also had 2 interceptions.

This is the personification of the next man up mantra. Even when players don’t get a ton of playing time they are ready to make plays.

I don’t know how much we will be seeing of Jackson the rest of the season. Most of the times we will see him on special teams but if an injury occurs the team is in good hands with J.C. Jackson.
