This is quite a familiar sight. It always seems like Boston has the upper hand on Toronto. After losing in OT in their last game you knew that the Bruins would come back with a vengeance.
Tuesday’s game was a historic one. Tuukka Rask made his 500th start for the team. Rask is one of the franchise’s best goaltenders. Some Bruins fans don’t appreciate just how good he is.
Bruins fans also got a look at a player for the first time this season. Anders Bjork made his season debut on Tuesday and looked pretty good. If he continues to play like he did I think he will be staying up in Boston for a while.
Fans also got to see offseason Par Lindholm get his first goal as a Bruin. Finally, the Bruins are getting the secondary scoring that they are going to need. If they can continue to get scoring from other players they will be in a good position.
So let’s look at the 3 major takeaways from Boston’s great win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.
