Horrible play calling

Now one of the biggest takeaways from the offensive side of the ball was how poor the playcalling was. This game definitely didn’t make people look at Josh McDaniels as a genius.

More from New England Patriots

One of the most notable errors McDaniels made was when he ran the ball three straight times in the red zone. Why didn’t he have Tom Brady go for a sneak over the top? Why didn’t he have the best quarterback in history throw the ball?

It might be a good thing if McDaniels leaves the team. Maybe New England will bring in someone else could improve the offense.

Throughout the season we saw McDaniels make some questionable calls. Running draws on 3rd and longs, trying screens when they weren’t working. They just made you scratch your head.

The Patriots made some mistakes, but Josh McDaniels didn’t do anything to help the team and cost New England some points.
