A stellar pass rush

I think we can count on Stephon Gilmore having a good season. He has proven that he is the best cornerback in all the NFL.

But Gilmore alone won’t win the New England Patriots a Super Bowl. The defense needs to have a stellar pass rush.

Kyle Van Noy was one of the Patriots best pass rushers. New England will most likely have to replace him as he is a free agent.

That means guys like Jamie Collins, Dont’a Hightower, and Deatrich Wise will need to step up. Also, young guys like Chase Winovich and Adam Butler will have to continue to get better.

We saw just how far the Patriots defense could take them. They made them look like a Super Bowl caliber team. The defense was single-handedly winning the team games.

Next. Malcolm Butler knew he was benched. dark

So if the New England Patriots do these things I think we will be seeing them in the Super Bowl next season.
