Jamie Collins had a rough falling out with the New England Patriots, but the linebacker has been impressive so far.

The New England Patriots are known for their great offense. When you have Tom Brady it’s hard to think otherwise, but the Patriots defense has really improved as of lately.

The whole reason that the Patriots won the Super Bowl last season was because of their great defense. The front seven was all over the place making sure the Rams offense couldn’t get any momentum.

New England’s linebacking corps is coming back fully reloaded. Dont’a Hightower and Kyle Van Noy are leading the way and Ja’Whaun Bentley will return from injury after an impressive start to his career.

The Patriots also made some improvements. They brought back Jamie Collins.

Collins left the Patriots in a bad fashion. He was criticized for not following the gameplan and just doing his own thing on the field.

Now the Patriots re-signed Collins in the offseason and it was an interesting move that may have stunned some fans. Could Collins become yet another player that finds new NFL life in the Patriots?

So far in Collins’ 2nd go around with the Patriots things have gone much better. The New England Patriots coaching staff couldn’t be happier.

Collins could become a key edge rusher. If he is able to consistently get to the quarterback he could become a problem for opposing offensive lines.

It looks like Collins has fixed his attitude problems. When you have to spend your time in Cleveland it is easy to reflect on your mistakes. Collins went from a Super Bowl contender to the bottom of the NFL.
