Boston Celtics stunned by Nets: 3 takeaways from shocking defeat
Celtics can’t stay healthy
A star returns, another star goes out.
That is the way it has been all season long as the Boston Celtics can’t seem to play any stretch of games with all of their players fully healthy.

At this point in the NBA season, injuries, health and fatigue will start to play a role with many players who play extended minutes, but the Celtics can’t seem to catch a break.
With Jayson Tatum out due to illness, Boston did get good news with the return of Kemba Walker and Robert Williams. Both players played well in their return, but Gordon Hayward left at halftime with a knee contusion and Jaylen Brown left the game with a hamstring injury.
Hayward’s injury came in the last two minutes of the second quarter when Daniel Theis fell back on Hayward’s right knee.
"“Just got rolled up on there and wasn’t aware it was going to happen,” Hayward said after the game, via ESPN. “I think it will be fine but sore for a little bit.”"
As for Jaylen Brown, he was more mum on his injury, but it looks like the Boston Celtics may be undermanned when they travel to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers.
At this point, the team has to focus on just being healthy for the playoffs, which may include giving up on chasing that No. 2 seed.
