Rob Parker

According to the biggest Tom Brady hater, everything he has accomplished over the course of his career has been luck.

Proved wrong over and over again, FS1’s Rob Parker has been proven wrong more times than the New England Patriots have won the AFC East over the last 20 NFL seasons.

More from Chowder and Champions

So, of course Mr. Parker is relishing the fact that Brady has taken his talents to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because according to him, there is no more luck left for TB12.

Here is what he had to say during his appearance on Ordway, Merloni & Fauria:

"“I just wanted to take a closer look at his career to be honest, and it’s not that I am saying he’s a bum, or he can’t play – I have never said that,” Parker explained, as transcribed by WEEI.  “He is a great quarterback, but I think his career has been overblown and that is the part I take a look at.  That is where the (luck) comes in.  It is not that he hasn’t made plays and done stuff, but things have luckily fallen into place for him.”"

Rob Parker went on to discredit all but two of Brady’s Super Bowl victories to teams melting down.  Although he may just have a case, the New England Patriots don’t win six Super Bowl championships without the leadership and mental competitiveness of Tom Brady.

Whether his luck has run out or not as Parker proclaims, what he can’t take away from Brady is his will to win.  If anything, that will rub off on a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team with a ton of talent.

So, we’ll see.

What we do know is it’s tough to consistently win on luck alone.  Brace yourselves Tampa Bay, Rob Parker is going to entertain you with these “luck” takes throughout the remainder of Brady’s career.
