Nick Wright loves to hate players on the New England Patriots but with Tom Brady no longer on the team I guess he has found a new player.

The New England Patriots have been hated across the NFL for years now. Tom Brady has been the face of the hate, but now that he is off the team there has to be a new face.

With sports on pause, that means there is room for plenty of shenanigans on the internet. Athletes have a lot of time on their hands and commentators need to come up with talking points.

One of the Patriots most notorious haters is Nick Wright. Any chance he gets to take a shot at the team he does so with glee.

With his usual target off of the roster, Wright is now putting his focus on Julian Edelman.

Many media members have thought that the New England Patriots could trade Edelman to move up in the draft. Maybe they could even draft the next Tom Brady? The trade proposal didn’t seem to sit well with Edelman.

In a now deleted tweet, Edleman clapped back at Wright, calling out Wright’s hairline. That’s a clean shot, not a great comeback but it gets the job done.

Wright wasn’t done there. Since he forced Edelman to respond he was ready for Round 2. Wright brought out the big guns this time.

There used to be respect in the Twitter game. Now everyone is going for the throat out there. I don’t know why Wright is so upset at Edelman. All he did was make fun of the dude’s hairline.

Wright will probably turn this into a week of content. All he does is make mountains out of molehills.

Edelman should probably take the Tom Brady approach and simply ignore these haters. Responding to them rarely does you any good. Most of the time it just makes them feel better about themselves.

Right now Edelman is most likely the face of the team on the field. There isn’t a player as popular as him on the roster. He will have to learn to have tunnel vision when it comes to dealing with the media.
