Week 7 vs San Francisco

The Patriots have an early bye week this year. This will be good so if things aren’t going exactly well they can regroup early on. If New England is performing well this could kill their momentum.

More from New England Patriots

This will be Jimmy Garoppolo’s first game in New England since being traded. He was probably hoping to play Tom Brady, but that won’t be the case. It will be a battle of Brady’s trainees.

Unlike the game against Kansas City, New England has a decent chance in this game. The 49ers might have made it to the Super Bowl last season, but their weaknesses were exposed.

We already know that New England’s defense will be its strength. If New England can test Garoppolo they might just win. Stephon Gilmore and Jonathan Jones might be able to snag some interceptions.

This will definitely be a close game. If I had to make a decision I think the Patriots edge this one out. The play of the defense will lead them to victory.

The return of Jimmy Garoppolo will be an amazing game to watch.
