New England Patriots: 3 Buffalo Bills players Bill Belichick should coach
Imagine Tre’Davious White in a New England Patriots uniform.
Prior to the last couple of seasons, Buffalo Bills All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White was most known to New England Patriots fans as that dude Rob Gronkowski gave the People’s elbow to in a game back in 2017.

Now, White is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the game and a player Bill Belichick would love to coach.
Considering what former Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore turned into since signing with the Patriots, I don’t see Buffalo making that mistake again. In ways, White is playing at a higher level than Gilmore was during his stint with the Bills. He even revealed Gilmore as his inspiration for his high-level play in 2019.
"“He’s a great player,” White said during a press conference back in December, via NBC Sports. “We exchanged numbers like two months ago. So, we text on and off here. It’s cool. I texted him actually. Before the game Sunday, and I was like, ‘Man, you got two (interceptions), I’m feeling a little motivated today.’ Then, look how the football gods worked, I was able to get two picks myself. He texted me after (my) game and was like, ‘You know you should’ve ran that back (for a touchdown).’ It’s a good competition. He’s a good dude.”"
That competitive nature is exactly what makes Tre’Davious White a player Bill Belichick would love to coach.
Along with his obvious talent, he seems like the type of player who would do anything the coach asks him to do just like Stephon Gilmore.
Like Matt Milano, the Buffalo Bills better be working out a way to sign this man long-term or Bill Belichick will shell out the dough to make him the next star New England Patriots cornerback just like he did with Gilmore.
