Hayward’s body got to recharge and he got to refocus on the goal of winning a championship.
Hayward looked rather well playing 34 minutes and scoring 17 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out six assists. It was a well rounded game and a positive sign from Hayward.
We saw Hayward drive to the rim with ease while also showing he can still shoot the ball. Another thing Celtics fans should be impressed with is Hayward’s passing. He was seeing the court well and making some great plays.
It was great to see Hayward performing at such a high level late in the season. It shows that he is as healthy as he has ever been. If Hayward keeps performing like this, it will take the pressure off of guys like Jayson Tatum.
Fans should be happy with Hayward’s performance on Friday night.
