Boston Celtics: Jayson Tatum bounces back in blazing fashion
By Sam Minton
After one of the worse games of his career, Jayson Tatum bounced back and helped lead the Boston Celtics to victory.
The Boston Celtics kicked off their seeding games against the Bucks and as expected they were unable to secure a victory.
That arguably wasn’t the biggest thing to come out of that game. Jayson Tatum was downright awful. Celtics haven’t seen such a bad performance from Tatum in his entire career.

Tatum only scored five points and went two for 18 from the field. A player of Tatum’s caliber can’t be putting up numbers like that.
But this poor performance gave Tatum an opportunity to show what he is capable of. To show his resiliency and ability to put past performances behind him.
When Tatum went on the court one thing was noticeable. It looks like before Sunday’s game he got a haircut.
It might just be me, but after a haircut, my confidence is sky-high. It appeared all that Tatum needed was a fresh cut. He was a completely different player on Sunday.
Tatum scored 34 points and also went five for eight behind the three point line. Nobody could stop Tatum, not even his own teammates blowing a double-digit lead.
This is the Tatum that Celtics fans expect to see. This is the Tatum that could become the best player in the NBA. Now he just needs to consistently put up performances like the one on Sunday.
Hopefully, that one bad game is forever behind Tatum. Especially in the playoffs the C’s can’t afford a performance that bad. After getting some postseason experience no longer can Tatum’s youth be used to protect him from criticism.
After that first game, everyone was able to get their jokes off on Tatum, but now things have changed. Tatum is determined to take the Celtics far in the playoffs. If he keeps playing as he did on Sunday, not even the Bucks will be able to stop the Celtics.
