Julian Edelman

When it comes to Patriots, Julian Edelman is likely to be the first one off the board. He will be looked upon to produce a lot this season.

Edelman is a catch machine. He reached 100 receptions in 2019 and he reached over 1,000 yards. Can he do that again in 2020?

ESPN doesn’t think so. They think he is going to have a rather severe drop in catches.

Now, this does make sense because Cam Newton will likely distribute the ball a lot more. He won’t rely on Edelman as much as Brady did.

Still, I think Edelman will have a quality season. ESPN predicts that he will have less than 70 receptions but he should likely be closer to 80-90. Edelman will still be Newton’s first option.

If you are in a PPR league, you can’t go wrong with selecting Edelman. The man is a catch machine.

When it comes to the 2020 Patriots, Edelman will be one of the top performers in real life as well as in fantasy.
