More growing pains for N’Keal Harry

Two predictions went right for New England Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry.

He did have five catches, although for just 39 yards.  He was also an X-factor in the team’s 21-11 victory, but for the wrong reason.

More from New England Patriots

After getting it going in the second half with consecutive catches, Harry committed the turnover that not only prevented the Patriots from going up 21-3 in the game, but helped the Miami Dolphins get back in the game as his fumble through the end zone resulted in the Dolphins scoring a touchdown on their next drive to cut the lead to 14-11.

The fumble didn’t end up costing the team the game, but it certainly stalled momentum at that moment and also stalled any confidence N’Keal Harry was building.

It is only one game and his ninth game in his NFL career, but Harry will have to shake off the fumble if he wants to prove to his critics that he is no bust.

In all, it was another growing pains-type effort from the second-year big receiver.  He did some nice things, but as is starting to become the trend, a mistake or two usually overshadows the good things he did on the field.
