New England Patriots GameDay: 5 bold player predictions vs. Seahawks
Julian Edelman will remind the Seattle Seahawks of Super Bowl XLIX
In order for Cam Newton to throw over 300 yards, he is going to need the Julian Edelman who always seems to come up big in these types of matchups.
While all eyes will be on N’Keal Harry and whether he can become a reliable target for Cam Newton, it will be Edelman who will be the primary receiver in a creative passing attack drawn up by Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
Relentless, tough and motivated, Julian Edelman is entering this game with some sort of injury, but he will play through it. He will take big hits and he will make plays just like he did in Super Bowl XLIX.
In all, the Patriots veteran receiver is ready for another hard-hitting fight against the Seattle Seahawks.
"“They’ve always been a very fundamentally sound football team that will hit you,” Edelman said, via Patriots.com. “Especially adding [Jamal] Adams over there, he like to hit. They’re a physical group, they play hard, they play the game the way it should be played and it’s gonna be a great test.”"
Seems exactly like the type of game Julian Edelman loves and he will certainly be a factor.
Bold prediction: Julian Edelman has over 100 yards receiving in this game.
