Stephon Gilmore and D.K. Metcalf don’t like one another

One of the key matchups on Sunday night was Stephon Gilmore against D.K. Metcalf. If Gilmore could contain Metcalf there was a chance that the Patriots could win.

More from New England Patriots

To Gilmore’s credit, he did a decent job. He only allowed Metcalf to grab four catches but he got the most out of them. He racked up 92 yards for a touchdown.

Metcalf’s touchdown pass was his most impressive. He simply outmuscled Gilmore on his way to the endzone.

Gilmore and Metcalf went back and forth all night. This led to a big altercation on Seattle’s sideline between the two.

It’s pretty uncharacteristic for Gilmore to get that upset. If Gilmore is scrapping you know Metcalf must have really angered Gilmore.

These two players are the best at what they do. They will continue to battle for years to come. Hopefully, next time Gilmore and the Patriots will be the ones that are victorious.
