The New England Patriots have a battle on their hand with the undefeated Las Vegas Raiders led by these 5 players who are the most dangerous.

Don’t look now, but the Las Vegas Raiders are rolling into Foxboro Sunday afternoon undefeated after a shocking 34-24 victory over Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints Monday night.  Now they look to do the same against Cam Newton and the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.

Playing in their new $2 billion stadium, the Raiders didn’t have their fans on hand, but that didn’t stop the excitement from motivating the team to an impressive victory over a Saints team many are picking to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

How did they do it?

Well, starting quarterback Derek Carr looked very much like the franchise quarterback in orchestrating four consecutive scoring drives after the team fell down 10-0.  With a nice mix of running plays and passing plays, the Raiders got effective performances from their primary playmakers, Josh Jacobs on the ground and tight end Darren Waller through the air.

They also got some timely defense in making Drew Brees looking very much like his age.  Can they put it all together in a cross-country trip to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots?

Well, Bill Belichick certainly knows the Raiders are a very dangerous team that his team can’t take lightly.  He is mostly impressed by how coach Jon Gruden has put together the team in such a short period of time.

"“He’s rebuilt the offensive line, the skill players on offense and the running back position,” Belichick said during his Wednesday press conference.  “So, they have a very good running game, they complete a high percentage of passes, score a lot of points, control the ball, drive the ball down field, execute very well.  I think Jon [Gruden] has the offensive group playing a very high level.  They’re good in the kicking game.  Young specialists, but guys that are obviously good and have a great future in front of them.”"

Belichick went on to praise the defense as well, but it is really the offense that creates the problems for the New England Patriots defense.  They have to be ready and bounce back from a subpar performance against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night.

In all, the Las Vegas Raiders are 2-0 and here are five players who are the most dangerous in this Week 3 matchup.
