The New England Patriots season might as well be over, but these three players can make things interesting for Pats fans.
The 2020 season hasn’t been fun for New England Patriots fans. The team is performing far below the franchise’s usual expectations. While there isn’t a lot for fans to look forward to, there are some players that should gather everyone’s interest.
No longer can the Patriots count on their usual stars. Julian Edelman is having the worst season of his career which is causing the offense to struggle immensely.

Then on the ground, there is the case of Sony Michel. The running back out of Georgia has yet to find his footing in the NFL and has struggled to stay healthy.
On defense, things aren’t so bad. While veteran players such as Stephon Gilmore have struggled, younger players have emerged as reliable options for New England.
The Patriots are about halfway through their season so there are still plenty of games to be played. At the end of the day, the result on the scoreboard doesn’t matter. This team is incapable of reaching the playoffs nevertheless the Super Bowl.
New England needs to focus on the progression of their young players so they can eventually end up back at the top of the AFC. It will take a few years, but with some good drafting, the Patriots could be well on their way to some successful seasons.
That’s why these three players will be interesting to watch. Depending on how well they do will determine just how long the team will struggle.
