Jakobi Meyers

With Edelman having such a bad season it seems like his career is nearing an end. The Patriots need to find their new stud wideout.

So far N’Keal Harry has failed to live up to expectations. He has struggled to make any sort of impact while other players who were drafted behind him are already some of the best wideouts in the league.

More from New England Patriots

Jakobi Meyers seems to be a player that could eventually be a top receiver for New England. Meyers was one of the best players for the Patriots in Week 8. He had six catches for 58 yards.

Meyers seems as though he could be the great speed receiver that New England needs. He is able to gain separation while also being a quality route runner.

Newton has already made sure that Meyers is a receiver that he looks for. It will be interesting to see how their relationship grows throughout the rest of the season.

There’s no doubt that the Patriots need to improve at wide receiver, but Meyers looks like he could be an internal solution to their problems. Damiere Byrd and Meyers could become quite the duo in the air.

So Patriots fans will be keeping tabs on Meyers throughout the rest of 2020.
