Formation of a New England Patriots two-headed monster

The New England Patriots has a pretty good running back tandem forming with Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead before he went down with injury.

With Sony Michel destined to get back in the mix of things and have a good game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Patriots fans might just be drooling if both Michel and Harris have good games on the ground in Week 13.

More from New England Patriots

With 47 yards on 13 carries last week, Harris is due to have a big game rushing this week.  His power downhill running style has been a major factor in the Patriots ground attack this season.  With competition in Sony Michel, Harris will be more than motivated to produce as the two have been inspired by one another.

Speaking of motivation and inspiration, it is another running back on the team Damien Harris says he is modeling his game after and that is James White.

Though different styles, it is more White’s mentality and approach to the game that Harris marvels.

"“I can’t even put into words how much you can learn from a guy like James White,” Harris said, via Boston.com.  “First of all, being a professional, the way he takes care of his business, the way he comes to work every day with a mentality of being a leader and a go-to guy that we can depend on, and he never lets us down.”"

Damien Harris is morphing into that type of player right before our eyes and he will be close to a 100-yard game rushing performance in Week 13 leading a very effective ground attack for the New England Patriots.
