Boston Celtics lineup: Perfect 2nd unit – Small Forward: Romeo Langford

The Celtics have some options when it comes to small forward this season. Aaron Nesmith and his great shooting would be a quality addition, but he might need some time to develop. The perfect second unit for the Celtics would include Romeo Langford.

Langford has had a rough start to his NBA career. Injuries have plagued him and he has never really been able to get in a rhythm.

More from Boston Celtics

After being drafted 14th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, Langford has only played in 32 games and is averaging 2.5 points. That is disappointing to say the least.

Langford has the talent. There is a reason the C’s drafted him. Langford showed some quality shooting skills while in Indiana.

Having Langford be a crucial part of the second unit would be perfect for Boston. It would show that they didn’t waste a pick on Langford.

Once Langford is healthy I think he can make an impact. He has the talent and just needs to get steady playing time.

But the perfect situation for Langford and the Celtics this upcoming season is having Langford be a crucial part of the second unit. It would show that the Celtics made a smart investment.
