No. 4: Jon Bon Jovi

Speaking of longstanding friendships, this Jersey-born rock star loves him some Robert Kraft, and with that comes his fandom for the New England Patriots.

More from Chowder and Champions

There is not a Sunday that goes by that Jon Bon Jovi isn’t spotted in the press box at Gillette Stadium sitting next to Mr. Kraft.  In fact, the long friendships he has with both the Patriots owner and head coach Bill Belichick has been highly publicized.

Jon Bon Jovi shows off his New England Patriots fandom every Sunday

Bon Jovi, who has known Belichick since his days with the New York Giants, converted to a New England Patriots fan when the GOAT coach was hired by Kraft. Sounds more like a fair-weather fan than a superfan right?

Well, it goes deeper than that.  Not only has Jon Bon Jovi gave the song “This Is Our House” to the New England Patriots, a song you’ll hear after every touchdown, he has attended every training camp since 2002.  Above that, Robert Kraft helped Bon Jovi in his attempt to purchase the Buffalo Bills in 2014.

"“He was a great adviser through the whole process,” Bon Jovi said back in 2018, via SI.com.  “He helped me at the league level.  And he helped me on a personal level, discussing all the details of ownership at great length with my family – the investment of time and money and effort involved.  We went through a lot in those 27 months.”"

Now imagine the AFC East rivalry between the Patriots and Bills had Bon Jovi been successful?

In all, this celebrity superfan may not be a New England native, but his close friendship with both Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick, as long as his dedication to the franchise definitely earns the “Livin’ On A Prayer” singer some major points.
