Defensive Tackles (9)

The defensive line has shaped into one of the strongest positions for New England. They added Milton Williams, the top defensive tackle available in free agency, and Khyiris Tonga, a big body tackle to clog up the middle. Christian Barmore should be returning this season after dealing with health concerns last year.

New England also traded up in the NFL Draft to pick Joshua Farmer.

  • Christian Barmore
  • Milton Williams
  • Khyiris Tonga
  • Jeremiah Pharma Jr.
  • Eric Johnson II
  • Jacquelin Roy
  • Wilfried Pene (UDFA)
  • Joshua Farmer*
  • Jahvaree Ritzie (UDFA)

Edge Rushers (7)

The Patriots need to get to the quarterback more in 2025, and upgrading their pass rushing attack was the place to start. They added K’Lavon Chaisson in the offseason, a known pass rusher who makes life miserable for Patrick Mahomes. They also added veteran Harold Landry, who has played for Vrabel in the past.

New England also drafted the top pass rusher in the nation in 2024 with Bradyn Swinson out of LSU.

  • Harold Landry III
  • Anfernee Jennings
  • K’Lavon Chaisson
  • Keion White
  • Bradyn Swinson*
  • Truman Jones
  • Elijah Ponder (UDFA)

It’s important to keep in mind that although these players are likely to come off the edge to rush the quarterback, they could also be utilized as linebackers.
