Patriots 2023 Schedule: Predicting the Score of Every Remaining Game

At 2-8, the New England Patriots are playing for pride at this point. Unless they somehow reel off seven wins in a row to close out the season, they’re going to finish with a losing record. For Bill Belichick, this would be the first time he’s had that happen since the 1990s when he was in Cleveland.

That could also lead to some huge changes. With three losing seasons in the past four years, the Patriots are likely to move on from the head coach, who will be 72 before the start of the next campaign.

If Belichick is going to keep his job, he’s going to have to find a way to finish strong. Here, we look at the final seven games on the schedule and give our predictions

Week 12: Patriots @ Giants - Nov. 26th

New England might be a mess right now but the Giants aren’t in much better shape. They do deserve some credit for beating the Commanders and in that game, Tommy DeVito had three touchdown passes. Still, it was against a divisional rival — and one that’s struggling as well.

That being said, the win over Washington shouldn’t be taken as a sign that Brian Daboll has turned things around. Instead, they’re likely to continue struggling, which is a good thing for New England.

For the Pats, there’s a quarterback controversy going on and that could also play well into their hands. Whether Mac Jones starts and has a fire lit under him or Bailey Zappe beats him out, the offense should be better in Week 12. That allows them to skate by with a narrow win.
