A lot of fans will make predictions that are permanent no matter the result. This Northeastern student and New England Patriots fan has nothing to worry about.

Ahhh Super Bowl champion Tattoos. Some are reminded of terrible defeat or a terrible season. Rarely are these insane examples of fanhood  correct, but Northeastern student and New England Patriots fan Eddie Ferrini shouldn’t lose any sleep over his decision.

Ferrini decided to get a tattoo commemorating the New England Patriots six Super Bowl championships. One of those hasn’t even occurred yet.

At least if this Sunday doesn’t hold true to Ferrini’s prediction, the tattoo is easy to fix if the Patriots return and win Super Bowl LIII.

Now there have been a lot of mistakes in the past. We have all seen pictures of early season bold predictions by fans.

A not so bold prediction

Now I’m not as adventurous as this guy, but props are deserved. I am way too superstitious when it comes to this stuff. I am forcing my girlfriend to wear the exact same jersey that she wore for last year’s Super Bowl.

Even with all that I think this may be the safest pick in all Super Bowl tattoo history.  Tom Brady is returning to where his mother is from and where he would often go to visit family. Stephon Gilmore is playing fantastic in the secondary.

The wide receiving crew led by Danny “playoff” Amendola is hitting their stride at the perfect time. Gronk will be playing and looking to dominate after being knocked out of the AFC Championship game and James Harrison will be looking to spit in the Steelers face after letting him go.

Now sports gods I’m not saying the New England Patriots are definitely going to blow out the Eagles, I’m just saying this tattoo isn’t all that risky.

Super Bowl Sunday is four days away but according to Ferrini’s tattoo, the game is already all but over.
