Isaiah Thomas hinted at a return to the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Even though he may want to return he isn’t welcome back in the TD Garden.

Well, Well, Well. Isaiah Thomas is seeing what life on the other side is like. Unlike his time with the Boston Celtics, Thomas is on a struggling team.

Thomas himself is struggling as well. He has played in only 31 games this season and is averaging 15.2 points and 4.9 assists per game. Life after Boston hasn’t been the kindest to IT.

On Sunday while doing an impromptu Twitter Q/A, Thomas hinted at possibly coming back to Boston.

More from Chowder and Champions

Isaiah we don’t want you. Unlike your experience, the Boston Celtics are doing just fine without you. The Celtics are in second place in the Eastern Conference. Even without Gordon Hayward, this team is primed to make it to the finals and shock the world by winning a championship without one of their best players.

Thomas was a blast to watch in Boston. Being a shorter guy it was awesome to see all the amazing things he could do. He was at times a human highlight reel, but when he was traded it changed his relationship with the Celtics.

The tribute video fiasco was not a good look for Thomas. He only played in Boston for two and a half seasons. He isn’t a Celtics legend. The video tribute fiasco ended hilariously with Thomas not even receiving one.

A great Celtics player who was beloved by all is now loved by few. He did some great things for basketball in Boston in the post big 3 era but his relationship has soured tremendously.

So thanks but no thanks Isaiah. The Celtics are doing just fine without you.
