Lane Johnson loves to talk about the New England Patriots and continues to fire shots at the greatest organization in the entire NFL.

The New England Patriots must have permanent real estate in Lane Johnson’s brain. It has been over 2 months yet all Johnson wants to do is talk about why he hates the Patriots.

Speaking on The Steve Austin Show, Johnson once again decided to talk about the team he beat in February.

"“Here’s what pissed me off,” Johnson said. “The Patriots, obviously, I respect their coach, I respect Bill [Belichick], I respect Tom Brady, but just because the way that they won the Super Bowls, the Patriot Way, is that how everybody else is supposed to do the same thing? No, it’s not. And that’s what I got mad at, the arrogance by them.“There was obviously some stuff behind closed doors. Their owner talking s— to our owner. Bill talking s— to our head coach [Doug Pederson] before the game. I’m not going to say it, but a lot of s— kind (of) built up to that, and I just got tired of hearing about it, man, to be honest.”"

This may be the softest thing I ever heard. How on Earth do you play in the NFL and not understand that trash talking is apart of the game? This also just seems so hypocritical coming from a guy who continues to attack the Patriots.

More from Chowder and Champions

This is a big boy league Lane. People are going to talk trash, get over it.

Also, you are surprised that the Patriots have some swag in their step? When you are basically guaranteed to make it to the Conference Championship every season you start to get a winning attitude.

Lane loves him some Patriots talk

Now the thing which makes this so hilarious is that this isn’t the first time that Johnson has trashed the Patriots. When Johnson was on Pardon My Take right after the Super Bowl he made the Patriots sound like a cult.

"I just think that The Patriot Way is a fear-based organization,” Johnson said. “Obviously, do they win? Hell yes, they win. They’ve won for a long time. Do I think people enjoy and can say, ‘I had a lot of fun playing there’? No, I don’t. That’s just the God’s honest truth.“They’re successful, but when they go to interviews, they act like (expletive) robots. Hey, stop being a (expletive)head. We can be cordial for a little bit. You only get to do this job one time, so let’s have fun while we’re doing it. Not to be reckless, but I’d much rather have fun and win a Super Bowl than be miserable and win five Super Bowls. But hey, it is what it is.”"

Well, this may be my humble opinion, but I would much rather win 5 Super Bowls. I graduated top of my class in kindergarten and know that 5 is greater than 1.

The Patriots are a hard-working organization. They are dedicated to being one of the best teams in the league. Their efforts should be applauded and not attacked.

Now can that sometimes get tiring and annoying? Yeah, but once you win a Super Bowl all those feelings turn into pure joy.

So as the New England Patriots continue to prepare for next season, Johnson is focusing on the past. Sounds like a guy who is primed for a career year to me.
