Jeremy Maclin

If the Patriots aren’t looking to break the bank, there are some more economical options that could still help them out.

More from New England Patriots

Jeremy Maclin and Bryant are in the same boat. They both need to turn their careers around.  The Patriots would be smart to sign Maclin if they are out on Bryant.

Maclin’s best seasons came in Philadelphia. In 2014 Maclin had 85 catches 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.

After traveling to Kansas City and Baltimore, Maclin is looking to find a home. Maclin has some incredible speed. He could become Tom Brady’s favorite target if he comes to New England.

The main issue is Maclin’s health. He seems to have issues staying on the field. If Maclin can’t stay on the field he may be forced to hang up his cleats for good.

Still, Maclin is still a quality wide receiver in the NFL. With the Patriots need for a quick pass catching fix, Maclin wouldn’t be a bad pickup
