Dez Bryant

More from Chowder and Champions

With Edelman out for 4 games, the Patriots need some help in the wide receiver department. Dez Bryant would be a great option to boost the Patriots passing game.

Bryant was released by the Dallas Cowboys and has yet to sign with a team. He has been on the decline after starting out his career with a bang. Bryant’s last great season was in 2014. He had 88 catches for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Bryant played in his first full season since then and failed to live up to expectations. He had 69 catches for 838 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Bryant is still a great wideout. He can be a great deep ball threat who still has the potential to put up great numbers. Bryant has the chance to turn his career around. He could follow in the steps of Randy Moss and use New England as a pitstop to get a ring, and a new contract.
